Geoff Murphy`s Goodbye Pork Pie, Vincent Ward`s Vigil, Peter Jackson`s Heavenly Creatures and Gaylene Preston`s Perfect Strangers, amongst his many credits, are superbly photographed films by any standard and each of them carries the distinctive signature of its director.
