El Mar, Mi Alma (G)

The sea holds a poetic and unconscious position in Chile`s culture. The visual film contains a good mix of images and music, it also consists of sequences of surfers inter-cut with visuals of the countryside, a few poetic verses, the movements of the cast as they surf and some commentary. The film has a strong environmental and political theme and tells the audience Chile`s association with the sea and surfing.
