Journey of a Story (PG)

William Brown, a New Zealand veteran of the WWII ANZAC campaign in Greece, responds to a request from young playwright Laurence to consult on a theatre production of the war novel that made him famous.Recounting his story, William is obliged to relive a part of his life he thought he had left behind.Shot entirely on weekends on location in Auckland, New Zealand with a volunteer team, Journey of a Story is a tribute to a generation of men, women, and their families that dealt with not only the war years but the difficult times that they endured afterwards.Featuring a soundtrack performed by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and contributions by over a hundred volunteers, this will make a compelling film screening for Anzac Day 2012.
