The Upcycle Fashion Show (G)

New Zealand`s first of its kind `The Upcycle Fashion Show` will take place at the historic Victoria Theatre in Devonport on Matariki 20 June 2012, 7pm. Auckland hobby sewers from all walks of life and of all ages will be showcasing their stylish redesigns. The non-profit event aims to raise awareness of the green fashion movement. It will inspire people to get creative and rework their former favourites. Upcycling is the creative process of altering, decorating or redesigning unwanted garments or utilising scraps and off-cut materials.
